Relax in the heart of the North Devon countryside in one of our luxury log cabins whilst making memories that last a lifetime with those who matter most.
Located in the UNESCO North Devon Biosphere, on the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and a Stone’s throw from a World Surfing Reserve, our three Scandinavian-style log cabins, are the perfect base to enjoy all that is on offer at Smytham Holiday Park and the surrounding area of North Devon. Only three miles away from our peaceful park, is the historical market town of Great Torrington, which boasts a selection of independent shops and cafes, along with a selection of places to enjoy a day out such as RHS Garden Rosemoor, The Plough Arts Centre for films, theatre and comedy and Dartington Crystal. For those who enjoy cycling and walking, there is direct access from Smytham to the 180-mile Tarka Trail. Onsite, there is even cycle hire* so you don’t have to bring your bikes with you! Cosy country pubs are within easy distance with cafes that can be walked and cycled to. Nearby is the picturesque coastal village of Clovelly and the sandy Blue Flag beach of Westward Ho!
For the keen golfer, Smytham Holiday Park is surrounded by golf clubs from Royal North Devon, the oldest course in the country, to our closest club at Torrington where guests staying at Smytham can enjoy an exclusive discount. Anglers can also enjoy Smytham Holiday Park with our family-friendly fishing onsite or, for those with more experience, there are many lakes close by and there are options for sea fishing too.
For those of you with electric cars, you can explore the local area to your heart’s content, safe in the knowledge that there is easy access to our four onsite EV chargers*.
At Smytham Holiday Park, there is an outdoor heated swimming pool (open May – September) a games room with soft play for under 5s, mini golf*, nature and fairy trail*, shared laundry room*, shop* and bar* (open seasonally). During the May half-term and the summer holidays food vans* visit the park with a selection of different cuisines to choose from.
